AYURVEDA
Ayurveda is an ancient Indian medical system based on balancing Vata, Pitta, and Kapha doshas. It emphasizes herbal remedies, diet, yoga, and detox therapies like Panchakarma. Rooted in texts like Charaka Samhita, Ayurveda promotes holistic healing, disease prevention, and longevity, making it a widely practiced natural healthcare system worldwide.
UNANI
Unani medicine, influenced by Greek, Persian, and Indian traditions, is based on balancing four humors—blood, phlegm, yellow bile, and black bile. It uses herbal medicines, diet therapy, and detox techniques like cupping to treat chronic illnesses. Unani follows a holistic approach, integrating lifestyle modifications and natural healing methods to restore health and well-being.
SIDDHA
"Siddhargal" or Siddhars were the premier scientists of ancient days. Siddhars, mainly from Southern India, in the state of Tamil Nadu laid the foundation for Siddha system of medicine. Siddhars were spiritual adepts who possessed the ashta siddhis. Agastyar or Agasthya, is believed to be the founding father of Siddha medicine.
SOWA RIGPA
Sowa Rigpa is a centuries-old traditional medical system that employs a complex approach to diagnosis, incorporating techniques such as pulse analysis and urinalysis, and utilizes behaviour and dietary modification, medicines composed of natural materials (e.g., herbs and minerals) and physical therapies to treat illness.
Hemant Soren is an Indian politician who has served as the fifth and current Chief Minister of Jharkhand since 4 July 2024. He had previously served in the office from 2019 to 2024 and 2013 to 2014. He is also the working president of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, a regional party.
